Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in the Alfreton area? We are seeking reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to support a variety of primary schools on a day-to-day and short-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in different school settings, building experience, and making a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.
The Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, You Will
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning.
- Provide additional support for pupils with SEND where required.
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom preparation and daily routines.
- Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom environments.

Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting is desirable.
- A positive, patient, and flexible approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
