Role Overview

We are looking for kind, caring and dependable Support Assistants to join our Supported Living Services in the Surbiton area. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available across morning, evening and daytime shifts.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Support individuals with:

  • Providing kind, respectful and person-centred support tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
  • Assisting in building confidence, daily living skills and fostering engagement with their community.
  • Promoting dignity, choice, independence, wellbeing and safeguarding.
  • Collaborating with the Manager and wider team to deliver safe, consistent support.
  • Monitoring wellbeing, maintaining clear and accurate records, and managing concerns appropriately.
  • Assisting with medication, appointments, routines, and household tasks.
  • Creating a welcoming home environment where individuals can thrive.
  • Encouraging positive outcomes to help people live a more independent, fulfilling life.

** Suitability Criteria**

You will be an excellent fit if you have:

  • At least one year of experience in care, particularly within:
    • Supported living
    • Learning disabilities
    • Mental health services
  • Alternatively, personal experience in caring for or supporting others
  • A genuine passion for helping individuals live well and independently.
