Support Assistant
Support Assistant – Supported Living Services (Reading)
We are looking for kind, caring, and dependable Support Assistants to join our Supported Living Services in Reading.
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across morning, evening, and daytime shifts.

About the Role
- Provide kind, respectful, and person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs and wishes.
- Help people build confidence, develop daily living skills, and take part in their community.
- Promote dignity, choice, independence, wellbeing, and safeguarding in everything you do.
- Work closely with the Manager and wider team to provide safe, consistent support.
- Monitor wellbeing, keep clear and accurate records, and raise any concerns appropriately.
- Support with:
- Medication
- Appointments & routines
- Household tasks
- Creating a welcoming home environment
- Encourage positive outcomes and help each person live a fuller, more independent life.

Requirements
You will be a great fit if you have:
- At least one year of experience in care, ideally within:
- Supported living
- Learning disabilities
- Mental health services
- Personal experience of caring for or supporting others
- A genuine passion for helping people live well
