About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our secretarial team within the Diabetes and Endocrinology team. The role provides a link between the Trust, the patient and their GP for patients/carers and other healthcare professionals. You will provide a comprehensive, efficient and responsive secretarial service to the medical staff and their teams.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to provide comprehensive secretarial support to the service,
Requirements
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team whilst maintaining a high standard of work.
- Ability to prioritise your workload and to know when to escalate issues is essential.
- Liaising with staff throughout the Trust at all levels including Consultants, Management, Nursing staff, GP’s, patients and patient relatives, dealing effectively and efficiently with their enquiries.

Qualifications
To be successful in your application you will need to have:
- A good standard of education.
- Experience of an office-based role.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and typing skills.
- A clear understanding of patient confidentiality.
