Support Officer – CBRE Baker Hughes
Location: CBRE Baker Hughes, Aberdeen AB21 7EA & Montrose DD10 9EB
Pay Rate: £12.84 per hour
Hours: 40–48 hours per week
Requirement: Valid SIA Licence and own transport essential
About The Role
Kingdom Group is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Support Officer to join our team supporting CBRE Baker Hughes across sites in Aberdeen (AB21 7EA) and Montrose (DD10 9EB).
This role is primarily focused within the Aberdeen and Montrose areas, providing a professional security presence and ensuring the safety and security of employees, contractors, visitors, and company assets. You will play a key role in managing gatehouse operations, controlling site access, and maintaining a secure environment at all times.
Shift Pattern
This is a 40–48 hour per week position working on a rota basis with a mixture of days and nights.
Typical Shift Times Include
- 06:00 – 18:00
- 18:00 – 06:00
- 07:00 – 19:00
- 19:00 – 07:00
Flexibility may be required to support operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage gatehouse operations and site access control.
- Verify and record all visitors, contractors, and deliveries entering and leaving site.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas.
- Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and security equipment.
- Ensure all security procedures and site instructions are followed.
- Report incidents, hazards, and security concerns promptly.
- Provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact for staff and visitors.
- Complete accurate incident reports and relevant documentation.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment at all times.

What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence
- Own transport is essential due to site locations and travel requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, reliable, and confident approach.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Basic IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous gatehouse or security experience is desirable but not essential.
- A full 5-year checkable employment history.
