We're expanding our relief pool and are looking for reliable and caring individuals to support our housing support, transitions and community support teams across North Lanarkshire including, Cumbernauld, Airdrie, Coatbridge, Motherwell and Bellshill.

The Role

As a relief colleague, you'll play an incredibly important role within our teams. You'll step in to support our teams during periods of annual leave, training and absence.

With our relief contracts, you're in control, tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts that work around your life.

No two days are ever the same, you’ll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of the individuals we support.

  • You'll support individuals living with disabilities and/or additional support needs with all aspects of their daily living, including personal care, medication, housework and preparing food.
  • You’ll also support them to reach their goals, participate in their hobbies and activities and play an active part in their local communities.

About You

No experience? No problem, we're looking for people with the right values and attitude - we'll provide all the training you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification, PVG and yearly SSSC registration fees!

All we’ll need you to bring is:

  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Confidence to work independently when needed
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Creativity and passion for improving peoples lives
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts fall into patterns of early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, waking nights and public holidays.

Sleepovers do not form part of our contracted hours. You'll receive your hourly rate as payment for any sleepover hours worked! Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus £20 per waking night shift worked.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
