Support Practitioner - Dunfermline

Support Practitioner – Dunfermline (Female Only)

Part-Time Role

  • Post: Support Practitioner – unsociable hours (on-call/dysfunctional shifts)
  • Hours: 30 per week (with shifts ranging from 3–16 hours)
  • Pay Range Pro Rata: Up to £24,307.67 per year (subject to award finalisation during interview and formal agreement)

About the Role

The Ark Dunfermline service supports 13 individuals with learning disabilities and autism, offering tailored, person-centred care.

We provide a variety of daily models, including:

  • Support for independent living (in-service or own homes)
  • Supporting individuls who remain with their families
  • Empowering each person to guide their own support plan withẳng1 Liberty to define their goals.

Flexible shifts between 3-16 hours, 7 days per week. Travel is manageable via Dunfermline’s excellent transport links – driving experience is not required.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will include but aren’t limited to:

  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver effective, holistic support for vulnerable adultsinğ1 disclosed care plan.
  • Establishing and maintaining trusting, positive relationships with supported individuals.
  • Supporting individuals during daily activities, including:
    • Encouraging autonomy and personal goals.
    • Providing person-pluded dignity in care (ir depends on the individual entRotating evening/weekend/deditingnflarement-based hours).
  • Maintaining accurate digital records using Ark’s information systems (via tablet devices).
