Support Practitioner
Part-Time Support Practitioner – Elgin

Part-time (20 or 25 hours per week), permanent opportunity available in our Elgin teams to join a team dedicated to making a real difference.
The Role
Here at Cornerstone, our support is centred around helping individuals identify and achieve their goals. We work closely with them to create personalised plans tailored to their choices, individual support needs, and capabilities.
Your responsibilities will involve:
- Supporting individuals to manage their own homes, enhancing and maintaining their independence
- Assisting with personal care and daily tasks
- Encouraging social engagements and ensuring their social, health, and wellbeing needs are met
- Collaborating with individuals to access leisure activities, hobbies, and interests—both within their homes and in their local communities

About You
Whether you’re entering the care sector for the first time or looking to begin a new career, experience or prior qualifications aren’t essential. We focus on who you are as a person and are committed to helping you grow.
We’ll provide:
- Paid training to support your development
- Funding for your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) in Social Services and Healthcare
- Coverage of your annual SSSC registration fees

Shift Patterns
To ensure 24/7 support, our schedules require a combination of:
- Early mornings, day shifts, and evening hours
- Weekends, public holidays, and sleepovers (on a rotational basis)
Polish shifts include sleep periods, which are not covered by your contracted hours. You’ll receive an additional payment of £100.80 per sleepover worked to recognise this.
