Our amazing Ronaldsay team in the Milton area of Glasgow are looking for a new colleague to join them on a permanent part-time (25 hours per week) basis. We also have relief opportunities too if you're looking for something a bit more flexible.

You'll become part of a friendly, warm, supportive team, providing support to three gentlemen with complex support needs in their own homes.
This is so much more than a job, it's about building meaningful relationships, celebrating achievements (big & small), supporting independence and creating memorable experiences.
Whether you're supporting one of the gentlemen to maintain their home, achieve a personal goal, enjoy a favourite activity (e.g. going to the pub, playing snooker and attending clubs and gigs), try something new or simply feel heard and understood, you'll play an important part in helping them live the life that they want to live.

The gentlemen also have their own mobility cars, so if you're a driver with at least a year's experience on the road that would be preferred, but it's not a deal breaker for the right candidates.
Your hours will include early mornings, days and evenings. Sleepovers, public holidays and weekends would also form part of your work schedule on a rotational basis.
Sleepover hours aren't included in your contracted hours, so you will be paid £107.60 for each sleepover worked.

Successful candidates will be required to:
- Join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme
- Work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy
Please note - If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
