IT Support Services Agent

Package: Competitive Salary + Benefits Role ID: SF20289 Location: Farnborough (On-site, 37 hours/week)

The Role

As an IT Support Services Agent, you’ll provide first-line technical support for the organisation’s users across both legacy on-premise and Azure/cloud-based environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Responding to incidents, service requests, and IT queries with a focus on customer-centric, high-quality service delivery.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and account-related issues.
  • Escalating complex issues to Senior Support Service Agents or 2nd/3rd line teams as needed.
  • Managing the lifecycle of the corporate iPhone and iPad estate (provisioning, configuration, support, and decommissioning).
  • Providing clear, friendly, and professional communication to users of all technical skill levels.
  • Documenting resolutions and contributing to the knowledge base.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver first-line IT support via phone, email, remote tools, and IT service management tools.
  • Maintain 24/7 coverage through an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support.
  • Ensure SC clearance eligibility is maintained (applicants must be vetted accordingly).

Experience & Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused, empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Windows and Office 365
    • Active Directory (AD) / Azure AD account administration
  • Proficient in following documented procedures and contributing to knowledge articles.

Desirable Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation v4 certification (or willing to obtain).
