Job Opportunity: Support Time Recovery Worker

Do you have experience supporting people in the community? Are you looking for something new, interesting and stimulating which offers the opportunity to use and enhance your experience? If so, the Reconnect Service is recruiting a full-time Support Time Recovery Worker to support people being released from prison.

About the Role

Working alongside Mental Health Practitioners, Support Time and Recovery (STR) workers work with individuals providing support with any practical concerns or difficulties that might be affecting their mental health and wellbeing. STR workers provide 1:1 support to clients for up to 6 months, giving information and/or support to allow them to access a wide range of agencies and services that can provide help and advice with, for example, housing, social isolation and exclusion, education, debt management, employment, and substance use issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
