Support Worker – Home-Based Care Role Location: Woodbridge, Suffolk Employer: Leading UK healthcare provider


About the Role

An exceptional Support Worker role has opened, supporting residents in a home setting. You’ll join one of the UK’s top healthcare providers, specialising in:

  • Residential care
  • Respite care
  • Dementia care
  • Convalescence care

Key Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Play a vital role in a skilled team, fostering well-being and delivering high-quality care to residents.
  • Assist daily, including:
    • Personal care (hydration, hygiene, toileting)
    • Companionship
    • Organising outings and recreational activities
  • Encourage independence while supporting vulnerable individuals' routines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely record keeping.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

Preferred Skills

  • A caring attitude and desire to help others.
  • Strong teamwork ability.
  • Ability to work in a remote location (freedom to use own transport; provision possible).

Salary & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: £13.45
  • Annual pay: £25,178.40
  • Working pattern:
    • Permanent, full-time (36 hours/week)
    • Day shifts
