We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding healthcare.

You’ll be working full time 42 hours a week, 12 hour shifts, including alternate weekends (four shifts week one, three shifts week two, on a two week rolling rota), days only, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Woodrow House, Stockport.

Woodrow House is a specialist residential service, supporting adults with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

We provide specialist care and support that is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration. We encourage and enable the people we support to lead a full and happy life and work with them to find out their strengths, abilities and preferences so that their care can be as person-centred as possible.

Your day-to-day…

  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with and report on medical & welfare needs

  • Salary: £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 per hour after three months (£29,435.70 first year), rising to £13.70ph after 18 months
