Support Worker
Support Worker – Learning Disabilities Service
Location: Glenholme Specialist Healthcare, St Vincent Place, Stevenage, SG1 3AT Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible working patterns available) Salary: £12.75 – £12.95 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
We’re looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our Learning Disabilities Service in Stevenage.

What You’ll Get
- £12.75 per hour starting rate
- £12.85 per hour after completing our paid-for Care Certificate
- £12.95 per hour with a Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care
- 28 days holiday, including birthday off, with additional holidays based on length of service

Your Role as a Support Worker
You will play a critical role in promoting independence, dignity, and a fulfilling life for individuals with learning disabilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care and emotional support
- Teaching and supporting independent living skills
- Assisting with community-based activities, such as social outings, leisure, and hobbies
- Offering companionship and building meaningful relationships
- Supporting medication management and daily health monitoring
