Job Title: Personal Assistant (PA) - Community Support
Location: Wrexham
Hours: 12 hours per week
Working Pattern: Tuesday evening, Thursday late afternoon, plus flexible hours
Salary: £13.26ph
About The Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support a 28-year-old man who uses an electric wheelchair and communicates with a Dynavox device. The role is focused on enabling independence, accessing the community, and supporting his hobbies and interests.
About Him
He enjoys a wide range of activities, including:
- Going to the cinema
- Watching and supporting Wrexham AFC
- Shopping trips and visits to the seaside
- Playing and following football, including powerchair football
- Playing boccia
He is looking for a PA who can support him in enjoying these activities and help make his outings sociable, safe, and fun.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal assistance in the community, including transport and accessibility support
- Communicate effectively, supporting him in expressing his choices and engaging in activities
- Facilitate participation in hobbies and community activities
- Maintain professional boundaries while building a positive, supportive relationship
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Male (requirement of the role)
- Patient, reliable, and enthusiastic
- A confident communicator with good English skills (to support effective use of the Dynavox communication system)
- A car driver with a full clean UK driving licence (essential)
- Flexible with working hours and able to commit to regular weekly sessions

- Remaining hours can be flexible by agreement
