  • Location: Nottingham
  • Position: Full-Time | £13.50 per hour
  • Shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (Days & Waking Nights)

Your Role as a Support Worker

You’ll be part of a dedicated team, supporting individuals with complex needs—such as: ✅ Autism ✅ Learning disabilities ✅ Mental health conditions ✅ Challenging behaviour

Your work will help individuals live safely and independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with:
    • Daily tasks (cooking, personal care, cleaning, budgeting)
    • Encouraging independence and confidence through meaningful activities and community access
  • Providing a calm, reliable presence during difficult times, offering emotional reassurance and structure
  • Promoting routines and relationships that help people feel safe, respected, and included
  • Monitoring and recording progress, celebrating small wins
  • Working regular 12-hour shifts (including waking nights) to provide consistent and high-quality care

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: A minimum of one year working in care or support (desirable)

  • Skills:

    ✔ Compassion, resilience, emotional intelligence ✔ Confidence working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours ✔ Basic IT skills (for communication and record-keeping) ✔ Team-first attitude with a commitment to person-centred care
