- £13.45 to £13.75 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
- 35 hours per week

Role Overview
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team at: Awel Y Mor (Saundersfoot).
You will provide high-quality care and support tailored to individuals with autism, helping them lead active, socially valued, and fulfilling lives. Collaboration is at the core of this role, as you will work closely with each individual, their families, and our team of carers.
About Awel Y Mor
Situated near Saundersfoot harbour, Awel Y Mor is a warm and welcoming home for up to three adults aged 18 and over. The building features:
- Three double bedrooms
- Communal lounges
- Modern kitchen
- Tranquil landscaped garden
Our approach is family-centric, balancing learning, leisure, and life skills. The creative team of carers works closely with each individual to ensure they feel happy, valued, and supported.

A Typical Day at Awel Y Mor
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing person-centred care and support to individuals with autism.
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as:
- Personal care
- Meal preparation
- Household tasks
- Encouraging participation in community activities, including:
- Swimming
- Bowling
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with individuals, their families, and stakeholders.
- Monitoring and recording progress, while ensuring all care plans are followed.
- Supporting individuals in achieving personal goals and developing new skills.
- Promoting a safe and nurturing environment for all individuals.
Requirements & Skills
Essential Qualities:
- A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to create a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Resilience, patience, and adaptability when dealing with challenging situations or individual needs.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping, documentation, and communication.
- A full UK driving licence (essential for supporting transportation to appointments and activities).
- Right to work in the UK with at least 12 months remaining on a visa (if applicable).
