Support Worker – Adults with Learning Disabilities & Autism (Part-Time)

About the Role

If you’re ready for a rewarding career, we’re looking for compassionate and committed individuals to join us as part-time permanent Support Workers (up to 22.5 hours per week) in our supported living environments. No prior experience is required—just a strong desire to help adults with learning disabilities and autism live more independent lives.

Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide emotional and practical support tailored to individuals’ needs.
- Help develop independence and life skills in a way that aligns with each person’s preferences.
- Offer one-to-one support while also collaborating within a wider team.
- Work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, evenings, bank holidays, and sleep-ins, adhering to a Late-Sleep-Early shift pattern.
- Maintain calmness and responsibility in challenging situations.

Key Requirements & Qualities
Skills & Experience
- No social care experience required (but desirable for career progression).
- A genuine commitment to empowering individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
- Ability to work collaboratively with families, agencies, and external partners.
- Independence with clear accountability—positively managing self and situations.
Practical Considerations
- Must hold a full UK Manual driving licence (mandatory for role requirements).
- Flexibility to cover shift patterns (including sleep-ins).
