Support Worker (Day Shift) – Permanent Role
About the Role
A exceptional job opportunity has opened for a motivated Support Worker within one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, based in a nursing home in Christchurch, Dorset.
This esteemed establishment specialises in nursing and dementia care, offering a stunning seaside location perfect for residents’ well-being.
Requirements
To apply, you must hold:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or an equivalent qualification)
Key Responsibilities
As part of the care team, you will be responsible for:
- Promoting the well-being of residents and delivering high-quality care
- Assisting with daily personal tasks, including:
- Hygiene support
- Companionship and leisure activities (e.g., days out)
- Encouraging independence and supporting daily routines
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping at all times
