Support Worker – St Augustine’s, Cygnet Health Care

About the Role
We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You’ll be working 42 hours per week across a mixed shift pattern (12-hour shifts) to make a positive difference to the lives of individuals in our care at St Augustine’s.
St Augustine’s is a 32-bed specialist high-support inpatient rehabilitation unit (level 2) for men. Our exceptional facilities and multi-disciplinary treatment programme help individuals prepare for return to community living. Many service users have experienced multiple placement breakdowns or failed treatment programmes—or transitioned from secure settings.

Responsibilities
Your day-to-day role will include:
- Offering enhanced care with a flexible approach tailored to each service user’s needs
- Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
- Understanding individual needs and delivering care in the most appropriate way
- Assisting with medical and welfare needs and ensuring accurate reporting
- Safeguarding individuals under your care
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for all
