Support Worker

Service: Endurance Care Limited – Norfolk (Kings Lynn) Salary: £12.71 per hour / £26,436.80 per annum (part-time equivalent: 40 hours/week)

Your Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, your role will involve:

  • Working with young adults with complex needs, offering compassionate care in both supportive and sometimes challenging situations.
  • Building positive relationships through attentive listening, discussion planning goals, and ambitions together.
  • Assisting with daily tasks including:
    • Personal care (e.g., eating support, medication administration)
    • Practical activities such as cooking, cleaning, and managing errands.
  • Planning and participating in enriching outings or leisure activities tailored to each individual’s interests.
  • Encouraging greater independence while making a meaningful impact on someone’s life.

Key Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A caring attitude, with passion for helping others achieve personal growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
  • Resilience and confidence in seeking support when needed.
  • Strong listening and communication skills to build trustful relationships.
