Support Worker
Support Worker (Permanent, Full-Time) – Elderly Care Home, Bournemouth, Dorset
A fantastic opportunity has opened for a committed Support Worker to join one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, based in an exceptional care home in the Bournemouth, Dorset area—home to residents who deserve the finest quality care.
About the Role
You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support and companionship to residents, ensuring their well-being and independence in a professional and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support Workers are integral to our team and are responsible for:
- Promoting the well-being of residents and delivering high-quality care
- Assisting with daily personal tasks, including:
- Helping with hygiene and mobility
- Providing companionship and excursions
- Encouraging independence while supporting vulnerable individuals with daily routines and activities
- Maintaining accurate records of resident care and observations

Requirements
Must Have
✔ NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
Desired Attributes & Experience
- A genuine passion for caring for others
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proven care-related experience (preferred)
