Support Worker - Ashley Drive


Salary: £26,853 per annum Location: Tylers Green, High Wycombe Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (with sleep-ins required)


About the Role

We welcome candidates to join our registered care home at Ashley Drive, where you will support six individuals with learning disabilities, some of whom are non-verbal or have physical disabilities. Your role will involve fostering independence and community engagement through personalised, compassionate care.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Providing personalised and tailored support to each resident.
  • Delivering personal care with sensitivity and respect.
  • Equipping individuals with practical life skills, such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, and domestic tasks.
  • Collaborating to create and implement individualised support plans and risk assessments.
  • Empowering residents to achieve their personal goals and participate actively in the community.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual with the following qualities and experience:

  • Essential:

    • Demonstrates genuine care, reliability, and proactive attitudes.
    • Can communicate effectively and adapt support methods to meet varied needs.
    • Willing to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
    • Committed to inclusion, equality, diversity and person-centred care.
    • Practical experience in a similar role is desirable.
    • Flexible availability to cover additional shifts as required.
  • Preferred:

    • A driver’s licence (public transport links are limited in this location).

This position may also consider part-time hours based on individual flexibility.
