Support Worker
Support Worker – Full-Time (Huntly)
** kraftig looking for a Full-Time member of staff to join our team in Huntly!**
We are Community Integrated Care recruiting to expand our current team of Support Workers.
As a Support Worker, your role will be to support individuals within their own homes, ensuring they are able to live as independently as possible, make decisions, and thrive.
About the Role
The individual we will be supporting are active in their local community, engaging in activities like swimming, café visits, music sessions, and pampering. We are looking for:
- Fun-loving, active individuals who can bring a positive energy to the role
- Dedicated and compassionate professionals with strong interpersonal skills
- Resilient champions who enjoy supporting others to achieve their life goals
At Huntly, we support a diverse group of adults with:
- Learning disabilities (including Autism)
- Mental health support needs
- Physical care requirements
Daily work involves accompanying people to live meaningful lives while maintaining the highest standards of care, respect, and dignity.
Responsibilities
Core Tasks
- Supporting individuals with personal care, routines, and independent living skills
- Using de-escalation techniques to encourage positive behaviour
- Assisting with engaging activities at home and in the community
- Working closely with families, health professionals, and the wider support team
- Maintaining accurate records and daily care documentation

Person Specification
Key Requirements
We are seeking: ✅ Individuals aged 21+ (due to insurance requirements for mobility car support) ✅ Those comfortable travelling, as the role involves supporting individuals across their routines ✅ Flexibility to work varying shifts (days, evenings, occasional nights) ✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to connect professionally with colleagues and clients ✅ Reliable, trustworthy professionals who prioritise care, confidentiality, and well-being
Bonus Factors: ✔ Full UK Driving Licence (will enable driver assistance for some service users)

Work Environment & Community
Based in Huntly, our team provides 24-hour support, observing a diverse shift pattern: 🕒 Shift times include early mornings (7:30 AM) through to late evenings (9:30 PM) 🕊 Weekend and fortnightly late-night staffing
No car required; the team is welcome to use public transport. Huntly offers excellent connectivity to within the local area.
