Full-Time Positions Available | Day and Night Shifts
Harley House Supported Living is seeking dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Clacton-on-Sea.
This rewarding role involves supporting a vibrant 21-year-old woman with a learning disability and complex needs. She is highly active, full of personality, and has a real zest for life. We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a meaningful difference, supporting her to achieve her goals, maximise her independence, and enjoy a fulfilling life.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where no two days are the same. Successful candidates will be proactive, adaptable, and able to multitask while providing high-quality, person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
- Support with daily living activities and community access.
- Promote independence, choice, and inclusion.
- Safely support behaviours that may challenge.
- Follow care and support plans, risk assessments, and positive behaviour support strategies.
- Work collaboratively with family members and professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Support participation in meaningful activities and interests.
About You

- Have experience supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Have experience supporting behaviours that challenge.
- Are physically and emotionally resilient.
- Are positive, enthusiastic, and highly motivated.
- Can remain calm and confident in challenging situations.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Are committed to learning and personal development.
- Enjoy being active and engaging in a wide range of activities.

Training & Induction
Successful Candidates Will Undertake
- Enhanced specialist training.
- A comprehensive minimum two-week induction programme.
- Shadow shifts with experienced team members.
- Time spent with the individual's family to develop a deeper understanding of her personality, preferences, communication style, and support needs.
