About The Role
We're looking for... Support Workers.
Please note: this role involves supporting adults who may display behaviours that challenge and is not primarily an elderly care position. Experience in complex support needs is advantageous but full training will be provided.
Careline Lifestyles is looking for dedicated, compassionate, and resilient Support Workers to join our teams across our services.
We are a family run business and have been established for over 30 years, with 11 specialist Care Homes across the North East of England. We have an in-house team of dedicated professionals to support our individuals, as our focus is on our residents living life to the fullest.
We are a specialist provider, supporting adults (18+) with a range of complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, and behaviours that may challenge.
This is not a traditional elderly care role; our focus is on empowering individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives while providing person-centred support tailored to their unique needs.

Salary
£13.04 per hour
About The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping the people we support achieve their goals, develop life skills, and maintain their wellbeing.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing person-centred support in line with individual care plans
- Supporting individuals with daily living activities and personal care where required
- Promoting independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion
- Building positive relationships and maintaining professional boundaries
- Supporting individuals who may display behaviours that challenge
- Encouraging participation in activities, education, employment, and community engagement
- Completing accurate records and documentation
- Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
What We're Looking For
We are seeking people who are:
- Caring, patient, and empathetic
- Resilient and confident in supporting individuals with complex needs
- Able to remain calm in challenging situations
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality support
- Strong communicators with a positive attitude
- Experienced in care/support work (desirable but not essential as full training will be provided)
