Support Worker
Support Worker – £12.85 per hour (Full-Time/Part-Time) in Market Harborough, Leicestershire
About the Role
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality, respectful, and person-centred care to individuals with learning disabilities? Creative Support is hiring an experienced and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our dedicated team.
You’ll provide excellent care and support to tenants, helping them develop everyday living skills and engage in a wide range of enriching activities. As part of this role, you’ll:
- Foster inclusive, socially fulfilling lives for those we support
- Promote positive behaviour and guidance within a structured framework
- Build trusted relationships with service users
- Work within local and corporate policies in a dignified, respectful manner

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised, respectful care to individuals with learning disabilities
- Assists service users in developing life skills and independence
- Leads socially inclusive activities, ensuring engagement and enjoyment
- Upholds and applies positive behaviour support guidelines
- Builds positive relationships with service users and colleagues
- Works flexibly to support evening, weekend, and sleep-in shifts as required
- Operates within legal, safeguarding, and organisational policies
- Acts as a precipitate for creativity and improvement in our service

Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience and passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust and nurture empathetic relationships
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- Ability to follow positive behaviour support guidelines
- Experience with person-centred care principles (advantageous)
- Commitment to professional development and training
