Our charity was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.

Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.

Working closely with the Service Leader and the Support Worker team, you will be responsible for supporting a young man with his day to day life in his brand new bungalow. The person we support is unique, so you will provide person-centred support and will focus on achieving the best life possible with him.

Our Shifts: 08:00-22:00 | 22:00-08:00 (Waking Nights)

Shift Requirement: We are currently recruiting for day shifts and night shifts

Contract: Full-time and part-time permanent contracts available (24+ hours per week)

UK Driving License Required? For day shifts, yes (for driving house vehicle). Driving license not required for night shifts.

You’ll be supporting 1 amazing individual to live his daily life in the way he wants to live it. This means you will provide support in a wide variety of ways, including:

Supporting with personal care Medication Administration Home management, including support with cooking, cleaning, shopping and budget management Daily activities - anything and everything the person we support like to do is something you might provide support with! So come ready and willing to put yourself out there and try some new things!
