Role: Support Worker Location: Ammanford (SA18) Salary: £13.45 - £14.05* per hour Hours: 35 per week Shifts: 07:00-19:30 PM, 08:30-21:00 PM & 21:00-08:30 AM
Key Requirement: 🔒 FULL UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENSE ESSENTIAL.

At Rose Cottage, we provide tailored support to 5 adults with learning disabilities and autism, focusing on helping them live life on their terms. Our dedication revolves around building confidence, fostering new skills, and promoting greater independence in daily life.
Perched in the serene village of Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen, bordering the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park, our setting offers fresh air, breathtaking landscapes, and a calm environment.
Though rural, we’re surrounded by essential amenities—local shops, cafés, sports facilities, a cinema, and quick access to Swansea or Cardiff (around 30 minutes away). Frequently, we organise group outings to add variety and excitement.
**Your Role:
• Supporting the daily routines and activities of individuals we assist • Encouraging independence while helping them live a meaningful life • Developing personal skills and interests through hobbies and tailored activities • Managing health care needs, such as accompanying individuals to appointments or administering medication • Teaching essential life skills like budgeting, bill payments, and shopping • Assisting with personal care where necessary • Supporting with domestic tasks like cleaning and cooking • Offering emotional and physical support to empower growth**
