The Role: Support Worker (Bank)
You’ll report and collaborate closely with a Service Leader and Support Worker team to provide hands-on care to individuals in a shared living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support 4 gentlemen in navigating their day-to-day lives to maximise independence and personal choice
- Enable a high-quality living experience with care shaped around their unique passions
Personalisation of Care
The individuals premise their support on their interests:
- Socialising: Hosting parties, dancing, and karaoke (yes, singing may be required!)
- Leisure: Cinema trips, theatre nights, and coffee catch-ups
- Companionship: Eating out and community outings
- Companionship: Caring for two adorable cats (not suitable if allergic)
Your support will extend to:
- Daily home living assistance
- Medication and personal care
- Promoting autonomy and choice
- Help with appointments
- Supporting finances
About Our Shifts
- Morning: 7am – 2:30pm
- Late Morning: 9am – 4:30pm
- Evening: 2:30pm – 9:30pm
- Night (optional but beneficial): 9:30pm – 7am

What You’ll Need
Bank Contract: Zero Notice/Casual paid shifts for flexible support, as required by clients.
Location Requirements:
- Driving license strongly essential (required for rural service access)
- Skills and willingness to independently drive to client’s premises
- Veterinary explanation required for cat allergies (not suitable for this role)
