Support Worker - Byron Lodge (M9)

Job Role: Support Worker

Location: Blackley, Manchester (M9) Salary: £13.45 - £14.05* per hour Hours: 36 per week Shifts: 8:30–21:00 daily, plus two weekends/month Requirements:

  • Must hold a UK driving licence
  • Must be 18+ (due to working with vulnerable individuals)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day routines of the people we support.
  • Encourage independence while helping them achieve a fulfilling life.
  • Develop personal skills through hobbies and interests.
  • Support healthcare needs (e.g., appointments, medication administration).
  • Teach life skills like budgeting, paying bills, and shopping.
  • Provide personal care and emotional support as needed.
  • Assistance with domestic tasks (cleaning, cooking).
  • Offer physical and emotional guidance and encouragement.
