Support Worker Vacancy – Cannock

Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Cannock.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. Working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs, you’ll create meaningful support experiences that help them live free, independent, and fulfilling lives.

Various hours available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding personal care, including helping with daily routines, bathing, showering, and toileting.
  • Promote independence by assisting with budgeting, paying bills, household tasks, and meal preparation.
  • Build strong communication and relationships to support individuals in understanding the world around them.
  • Foster social inclusion by helping people access local communities and enjoy social events.
  • Assist in developing life skills and celebrating individuality.
