Support Worker - Care Leavers (Aged 16-21)
We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to work with young people aged 16-21 who are care leavers, providing safe, structured, and person-centred support.
This role requires confident, resilient individuals who are comfortable working long shifts, sleep-ins, and lone working environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting young people to develop independence and life skills
- Promoting positive behaviours and emotional wellbeing
- Supporting with daily routines and practical tasks
- Working independently and making appropriate decisions when lone working
- Maintaining accurate records and following care plans
- Ensuring safeguarding and duty of care at all times

Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year's experience working as a Support Worker
- Proven experience supporting care leavers or similar services
- Experience working long shifts, sleep-ins, and lone working
- Strong communication and professional boundaries
- Ability to work calmly in challenging situations
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people
