Support Worker : CPI trained

About The Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join a leading residential care provider operating across West Midlands and Coventry. The service supports adults with complex needs, including challenging mental health conditions, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and physical and sensory disabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers who are committed to delivering high-quality person-centred care and promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with varying support needs.
  • Assist service users with daily living activities, personal care, and community access where required.
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and sensory or physical disabilities.
  • Promote independence, choice, dignity, and social inclusion.
  • Implement care and support plans in line with individual needs.
  • Safely administer and record medication in accordance with company policies.
  • Manage challenging behaviours using approved de-escalation and intervention techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and family members.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and CQC standards.

Candidates must hold:

  • Mandatory Care Training (Care Certificate or equivalent)
  • NAPPI (Non-Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention) or equivalent Restraint Reduction Training
  • Medication Administration Training
  • Experience working within residential care settings
  • DBS (Enhanced) and must be on the update service
  • A flexible approach to working shifts, including nights and weekends
