What You'll Be Doing
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have experience of supporting and encouraging individuals in their daily activities whilst ensuring that care, respect and dignity are shown at all times. This will be achieved through a varied and diverse range of activities that you would be planning and facilitating alongside other staff members, and no two days are ever the same at Echo.
You will be supporting clients to manage and improve their self-esteem and empower them to become more engaged and confident in their everyday life, through activities such as exercise, singing, art and craft, quizzes, gardening etc. You will need to have patience, humour and like being part of a lively, energetic team. The centre is a dynamic and vibrant place that offers the opportunity for you to be creative and innovative.
This is an exciting role which would suit an experienced individual who has previously worked in the learning disability sector and would like to develop their management skills alongside the continued transformation of day services within Cornwall.
