About The Role

Support Worker, The Manse, Lower Freystop. £12.60 to £12.80 per hour

Full Time: Day 39 hours per week, Nights 35 hours per week (flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and weekend)

Orbis Education & Care provides specialist care and education services for children and adults with complex needs that are associated with autism. Located in the small friendly village of Freystop, on the outskirts of Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, The Manse is a spacious home for up to 4 adults from age 18.

A day in the life of working at The Manse includes:

  • Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Support our people during recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
  • Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.
