Location: Hatzfeld Care Ltd, Hollinwell – NG17 7BT Salary: £12.88 per hour

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by delivering compassionate, high-quality care and helping them live as independently and fulfillingly as possible. What You’ll Be Doing

- Providing high-quality, person-centred care and emotional support to residents with dementia and nursing care needs.
- Encouraging residents to maintain independence while respecting their individual choices and dignity.
- Supporting residents with personal care, daily living activities, and meaningful social engagement.
- Reinforcing existing life skills and promoting confidence and wellbeing.
- Acting as a Key Worker for designated residents, helping to plan, coordinate, and review their personalised care plans.
- Building positive relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and care agencies.
- Maintaining accurate care records and updating personalised care plans via our digital care system.
- Safely administering or assisting with medication (in accordance with company policies and training).
- Engaging in resident meetings to promote choice and inclusion.
- Attending regular supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training for professional development.
- Working flexibly to meet the needs of the home while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Requirements
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive difference every day.
You should demonstrate:
- A reliable, trustworthy, and professional approach to work.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and positive attitude, with a genuine passion for improving residents’ lives and wellbeing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as take initiative when required.
- A compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach to care.
- Previous experience in supporting people with mental health conditions and/or dementia would be advantageous, but is not essential—full training and ongoing support will be provided.
