About the Role
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by delivering compassionate, high-quality care and supporting them to live as independently and fulfillingly as possible.
Key Responsibilities
As part of our supportive care team, you will:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and emotional support to residents living with dementia and nursing care needs.
- Encourage residents to maintain their independence while respecting their individual choices, preferences, and dignity.
- Support residents with:
- Personal care
- Daily living activities
- Meaningful social engagement
- Reinforce and encourage existing life skills while promoting confidence and wellbeing.
- Serve as a Key Worker for designated residents, helping to:
- Plan, coordinate, and review their personalised care.
- Develop strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies.
- Accurately maintain care records and update personalised care plans using our digital care system.
- Safely administer or assist with medication in line with company policies and training.
- Participate in resident meetings, supporting choice and inclusion.
- Attend regular:
- Supervision sessions
- Team meetings
- Ongoing training to support your professional development
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the home while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

- Work collaboratively as part of a team while using initiative when needed. ✅ A compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach to care. ✔ Previous experience supporting people living with mental health conditions and/or dementia is desirable but not essential. (Full training and ongoing support provided for the right candidate.)
