About The Role

Reporting to: Registered Manager

Salary: £12.73 – £14.30 per hour

Location: Dover, Folkestone, Herne Bay, Ashford

Working Hours: Part Time (30 hours) Full Time (45 hours)

About The Role

LDC Care has been supporting people since 1999 and as we continue to grow, we are looking for inspiring, friendly and caring individuals to join our fabulous care teams as we expand. You will need a real passion for supporting people to achieve their full potential and you will constantly be looking for opportunities to give new experiences to the people we support.

As a Support Worker at LDC Care Co no two days are the same. You will be assisting the people we support with their range of hobbies and interests which range from going on holidays, pamper days, going to events, the cinema, theme parks to spending the day browsing the shops.

As a Support Worker with LDC Care Co, you will be trained to provide high-quality care via our comprehensive two-week induction programme at our Hub, but your learning does not stop there. LDC Care Co is committed to lifelong learning and has its own LDC Academy and provided with opportunities to develop your career in social care.

As we open our new venues in Medway, we need the Support Worker that will help us do what we do best - provide the highest level of bespoke support to those that need it.

About You

Ideally, you may have experience working within care settings and supporting adults with similar needs.

You may already hold formal qualifications in the care sector and want to now progress your career.

Or you may be completely new and would like to start a career in the social care sector.

The main thing we need to see from you is that you are a kind and caring individual, with strong ethical values which demonstrate an ability to support someone through the good times and the bad. Working in care can be tough, but the reward is huge.
