Support Worker – Burton on Trent

Where You’ll Be Working

Burton on Trent, Staffordshire

This is a unique service within Staffordshire supporting 3 people, offering supportive living to help them live as independently as possible in their own homes and local community.

We are looking for dedicated support workers to join our team and continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
  • A full UK driving licence

How You’ll Make a Difference

As part of your daily responsibilities, you will:

  • Encourage independence: Support individuals to play active roles in their communities and live as independently as possible.
  • Support daily activities:
    • Personal care (eating, dressing, hygiene, etc.)
    • Social activities
    • Routines, household management
    • Meal planning & budgeting
  • Communicate effectively: Use the service user’s preferred methods of communication.
  • Engage & motivate: Promote and help people to enhance their quality of life.
  • Specialise in positive behavioural support where needed.
  • Record accurately: Keep detailed records and report any changes in health or circumstances to management.
  • Work as a team player: Collaborate as part of a team while also using your initiative where necessary.
