Job Description
Location: Crystal Care Solutions - Hawksdale
A Support Worker at Crystal Care Solutions is based in our Care Leaving / Supported Accommodation homes working a 2 on 4 off shift system with sleep-ins, plus additional periodic shifts to cover holidays, training etc, to equal a average 40 hour contract.

Crystal Care Solutions is looking for passionate and resilient individuals to join our team as Support Workers in our Supported Accommodation Services for young people aged 16–25. If you are committed to making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people, we’d love to hear from you.
Your Role
- Building positive, supportive relationships with young people
- Acting as a key worker and helping young people reach their goals
- Promoting emotional wellbeing, education, and independence
- Supporting young people in daily routines, activities, and personal development
- Contributing to care plans, reviews, and documentation
- Upholding safeguarding responsibilities and reporting concerns
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the home
- Supporting young people to access community, employment, and training opportunities

Salary subject to Experience / Qualification

What we are looking for
Essential
- Ability to build positive relationships with young people, colleagues, and professionals
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Resilience, adaptability, and calmness in challenging situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A strong role model who demonstrates honesty and integrity
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time and tasks effectively
- Ability to lone work, and a part of a wider team
- Inclusive, rights-based approach to care
Desirable
- Previous experience working with children or vulnerable people
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- Understanding of child development and trauma-informed practice
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
- Awareness of care regulations and legal frameworks
