Support Worker – Supported Living (Eden Futures)
Role Introduction
We are Eden Futures, delivering exceptional support services for individuals aged 18 and over with learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health, and associated complex needs.
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals live independently—whether at home or within the community. Our focus is on enabling people to achieve fulfilling, active lives based on their choices and needs.

- Person-centred support – Work one-on-one with individuals to respect their choices, preferences, and autonomy, contributing to the development of their care plans.
- Safety & safeguarding –
- Promote dignity, respect, and human rights.
- Follow safeguarding policies to prevent abuse and ensure welfare protection.
- Report any concerns related to safety or wellbeing accurately and promptly.
- Emotional & social support –
- Provide compassionate, non-judgemental emotional care.
- Encourage participation in social activities (community access, hobbies, events).
- Practical assistance –
- Help with daily living tasks (household chores, finances, medication management).
- Support with personal care, hygiene, and health-related needs in a respectful and consistent manner.
- Communication & advocacy –
- Act as a supportive liaision for service users’ wider circle of support (families, social workers, etc.).
- Full accountability –
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of support provided and notice any changes in health or behaviour.
