Who are Codi Group?

Codi is a not-for-profit with a big heart and an even bigger mission. As Wales’ largest provider of housing, care, and support, we’re here to help people live well, feel supported, and rise to their full potential.

Every day, our teams support nearly 17,000 individuals across Wales with services that make a real and uplifting difference to their everyday lives.

Our name says it all: ‘Codi’ means rise in Welsh. It reflects who we are, where we come from, and our ambition to lift expectations, lift communities, and lift each other.

About the role

The service is a four-bedroom supported living home located on a quiet, private street in a lovely area. There is an element of lone working within this role, so confidence and the ability to work independently are essential. The environment is person-centred, positive and focused on enabling independence while providing the right level of support when needed.

One of the individuals you will support is a gentleman with Down’s Syndrome and a mild learning disability who truly loves life and thrives on being active. He enjoys playing his guitar and busking. He has a fun, energetic personality and benefits from a positive, structured routine. With your support, he will continue to develop life skills, build confidence and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Encouraging his interests, as well as promoting healthy eating and exercise, will be an important part of your role. A good sense of humour and a proactive, upbeat approach will help you connect and bring out the best in him.

You will also support a second individual who has low support needs and is largely independent. He is autistic and values his own routine and personal space, and has made excellent progress in becoming more independent. Your role will involve providing gentle guidance around budgeting, supporting him to attend medical appointments if needed and helping him continue his journey towards fully independent living. He enjoys his independence and may spend time on his own, so understanding and respecting this is key.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
