About Linden Lodge

Located in a tranquil residential area of Southgate, within the London Borough of Enfield, Linden Lodge offers residential support for ten individuals with mental health needs. Positioned near a lively high street with excellent public transport links, the home fosters a safe and engaging environment where everyone can develop towards a more independent and fulfilling life.

About the Role

We seek a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. You’ll deliver high-standard, person-centred care, helping service users live life with dignity, independence, and choice.

As a key worker, you’ll provide direct support, guiding individuals toward their personal goals while adapting to each moment’s challenges and rewards. Empathy and resilience are core to this fulfilling but varied role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care and support to aid daily living
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in activities and community life
  • Collaborate to achieve individualised outcomes in a person’s chosen way
  • Maintain accurate records, care plans, charts, and daily notes
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and partners
  • Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality according to policies and regulations
  • Serve as the key worker for assigned individuals, helping them set and track personal goals
  • Promote choice, independence, and involvement at all times
  • Contribute to service improvements through innovative ideas and suggestions

  • A genuine, respectful approach to supporting others
  • Flexible thinking and the ability to problem-solve creatively
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A dedication to professional standards, policies, and ethics
  • Preference to have experience in care or support work, but this is not mandatory (we provide comprehensive training)
