Support Worker
Support Worker / Care Assistant – Join Our Award-Winning Team

We’re seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as either a Support Worker or Care Assistant with full training and ongoing support provided.
Bank Staff Shifts Only | Day Shifts Only
About the Role
Support Workers and Care Assistants play a vital role in helping individuals live fulfifilled lives through consistent, empowering, and personalised care. In this position, you’ll:
- Use your training to assist individuals with daily tasks and daily living activities
- Provide meaningful social visits, family support, and lifenriching days out to local attractions
- Maintain accurate paperwork and records for each person in our care
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external agencies to support comprehensive care plans
- Be part of a collaborative, values-driven team that champion smofiering and person-centred practice
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, reliable care using your training and personal values
- Build strong, trusting relationships with the individuals we support
- Support personal growth and confidence through social activities and adventures
- Ensure daily activities, health needs, and personal routines are met with dignity and respect
- Provide outing opportunities, essential trips, and meaningful engagement
- Work tirelessly to enhance the lives of those we support

Person Specification & Requirements
To thrive in this role, we’re looking for individuals with:
- A basic understanding of care principles (no formal qualifications required, but an interest in learning is crucial)
- Strong communication skills to liaise with individuals, families and professionals
- A deep pride in working with vulnerable people and an unwavering commitment to safeguarding
- Effective decision-making and judgement when supporting individuals in their home life
- Organisational skills to manage workloads effectively and maintain clean records
- A commitment to achieving all Health & Safety standards
- Access to a *fully funded DBS check as part of employment (*subject to role requirements)
