Support Worker

Hollinwell, NG17 7BT – £12.88–£13.70 per hour

About the Role

We are opening our state-of-the-art, beautifully renovated care home, designed to deliver exceptional comfort, dignity, and independence for our residents while fostering a rewarding workplace for our team.

As a Support Worker, you’ll make a meaningful impact by delivering compassionate, high-quality care to residents with dementia and nursing care needs, helping them live independently, fulfillingly, and with dignity.


Responsibilities

As part of our care team, you will:

  • Provide person-centred care and emotional support to residents with dementia or nursing needs
  • Encourage independence while respecting choices, preferences, and dignity
  • Assist with personal care, daily activities, and meaningful social engagement
  • Reinforce life skills and boost confidence and wellbeing
  • Become a Key Worker for assigned residents, planning, coordinating, and reviewing their personalised care plans
  • Foster strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and support agencies
  • Maintain accurate digital care records and update personalised plans
  • Administer or assist with medication safely, following company protocols
  • Contribute to resident-led meetings and promote choice and inclusion
  • Attend regular supervision, team meetings, and training to support professional growth
  • Work flexibly to meet the home’s needs while collaborating effectively with colleagues
  • Uphold Hatzfeld Care Ltd’s values and commitment to outstanding care

Ideal candidates will have: ✔ A caring, positive, and person-centred approach to care ✔ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to build trust with residents, families, and colleagues ✔ The ability to work collaboratively and use initiative when needed ✔ A conscientious, professional, and trustworthy attitude ✔ Previous experience in supporting individuals with dementia/mental health is desirable but not mandatory (full training provided)
