About The Role

At Ings Grove House, part of Kirklees Council’s Adult Social Care services, we are looking for compassionate and motivated Support Workers to join our team.
Ings Grove House is an intermediate care facility, supporting individuals as they transition from hospital back to independent living. Working alongside health professionals, we provide short-term rehabilitation and support in a safe and welcoming environment.
As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping people recover, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
- Promote independence through daily living activities and rehabilitation support
- Build positive, professional relationships with Service Users
- Monitor and report changes in health, wellbeing, or behaviour
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and health partners to deliver person-centred care
- Maintain accurate and timely care records

About You
We are looking for people who:
- Have a caring and compassionate approach
- Are committed to supporting others to live as independently as possible
- Have good communication and teamwork skills
- Are reliable, flexible, and willing to learn
Previous experience in care is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.
