Support Worker / Intervenor for young man with deafblindness (Ref. 009641)

£21 per hour | Flexible hours | Multiple positions available

About the Role

Are you a caring, enthusiastic person who enjoys helping someone experience the world in their own unique way?

We are seeking kind, reliable individuals to join our small, supportive team in Bagshot, Surrey, assisting an 18-year-old young man with deafblindness in activities he loves while fostering confidence and independence.

Working closely with his family and support team, you’ll provide consistent, person-centred care in both domestic and community settings.


About Cameron

Cameron is an outgoing and playful young man with a wide range of interests, including:

  • Swimming
  • Theme park trips
  • Exploring both indoors and outdoors (walks, parks, and playgrounds)
  • Sensory activities and massage (on his own terms)
  • Assisted cooking and eating
  • Interactive games (e.g., high-fives)

He communicates primarily through tactile signing based on British Sign Language (BSL). Full training will be provided, including:
