Salary
£12.71 per hour
Working Hours
Flexible between 20–40 hours per week (including weekdays, weekends, and nights)
About the Role
Essential Care and Support (part of National Care Group), a specialist provider of person-centred care, is recruiting for a Support Worker to join their team at Murton.
We support individuals with a wide range of needs including:
- Mental Health
- Dementia
- Physical Disabilities
- Elderly Care

Key Responsibilities
- Build positive and supportive relationships by actively listening, discussing, and planning personal goals and ambitions together.
- Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities, such as:
- Cooking
- Cleaning
- Running errands
- Provide assistance with personal care, which may include:
- Supporting with meals
- Administering medication
- Plan and participate in exciting outings to enrich the lives of those you support.
- Make a positive impact by encouraging greater independence where possible.
Essential Qualities
We are looking for a person who:
- Has a caring attitude and a passion for supporting others to achieve their goals.
- Is a team player, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Demonstrates resilience in challenging situations while knowing when to seek additional support.
- Possesses excellent listening and communication skills.
