Working Hours

Flexible between 20–40 hours per week (including weekdays, weekends, and nights)

About the Role

Essential Care and Support (part of National Care Group), a specialist provider of person-centred care, is recruiting for a Support Worker to join their team at Murton.

We support individuals with a wide range of needs including:

  • Mental Health
  • Dementia
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Elderly Care

Key Responsibilities

  • Build positive and supportive relationships by actively listening, discussing, and planning personal goals and ambitions together.
  • Help plan daily tasks and assist with practical activities, such as:
    • Cooking
    • Cleaning
    • Running errands
  • Provide assistance with personal care, which may include:
    • Supporting with meals
    • Administering medication
  • Plan and participate in exciting outings to enrich the lives of those you support.
  • Make a positive impact by encouraging greater independence where possible.

  • Has a caring attitude and a passion for supporting others to achieve their goals.
  • Is a team player, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
