Please note that holding a clean, full UK manual driving licence is an essential requirement for this role. The successful candidate must be willing to drive a wheelchair-accessible vehicle as required.

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Support Workers to join our team at Crantock Drive, Almondsbury, a residential service supporting eight ladies with a range of support needs. The people we support are all individuals with their own personalities, interests, and aspirations.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion. You will work closely with the ladies we support, enabling them to live fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals.
You will help and encourage the people we support to:
- Participate in meaningful activities and hobbies
- Maintain contact with family and friends
- Be active members of their local community
- Develop independence and daily living skills
- Enjoy social opportunities, outings, and day trips

We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive, and able to anticipate the support needs of others. There is an expectation to engage individuals and support activities such as:
- Walks in the local area
- Shopping trips
- Visits to local attractions and community groups
- Drives and day trips
- Leisure and recreational activities
The role will also include:
- Supporting with medication
- Planning menus and shopping
- Assisting and encouraging meal preparation
- Supporting health and wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate records and communication
About You
The successful Support Worker will:
- Enjoy working with people and have a positive outlook
- Have a good sense of humour and enjoy having fun
- Be able to work independently and use their initiative
- Demonstrate patience, calmness, and sensitivity when managing challenging situations
- Have a good level of self-awareness
- Be keen to learn and develop new skills
- Be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work
Working Hours
Flexibility is essential. Shift patterns include:
- 07:00 to 14:30
- 14:00 to 21:30
- Sleep in shifts
- Long days can be considered
